Country Oaks Retirement Center
5648 South 33rd W. Avenue
Every first Friday of the month, a group from the Carbondale Church of Christ gathers at the Country Oaks Center, at 7 p.m., for an hour of singing, visiting, and prayer with the Country Oaks residents. We are always greeted with warm smiles and we always leave spiritually uplifted due to the good fellowship.
On Thursday mornings, the Carbondale Church of Christ provides a van to transport the Country Oaks residents to one of the Wal-Mart Super Centers in the area. This service is provided so the Country Oaks residents who cannot drive or who have difficulty in getting to go shopping for needed items.
On Thursday evenings (7:00 p.m.), we are holding a Bible Study at Country Oaks. The residents are invited to attend and so far it has met with great success!

Adoption of Berryhill Elementary School
During the school year, many members of Carbondale are available to Berryhill Elementary School to help with mentoring, reading to and with children, and help with homework.
